It is okay to feel discouraged
If you are feeling discouraged on your journey, please know that it is totally okay and to be expected. Unless you grew up in an incredibly nourishing and healthy bubble (which I almost think is next-to impossible), there have been negative beliefs set inside your subconscious.
They could range from personal things like "you will never succeed" to societal things like "no one can get ahead in this economy". And these negative beliefs will bring you down anytime you feel low.
Trust me, I am speaking from experience. Even in my current efforts, I am constantly feeling those negative beliefs despite actively working against them for years.
We are human and our programming can run deep.
Discouragement is a sign of being disempowered and tired.
So, first off. Rest. Grant yourself the grace to relax. The ultimate solution is to realign to empowerment and positive belief and you cannot do that if you are tired. Give yourself a vacation day or a relaxing bubble bath. You need to be able to get the energy to reset.
Also consider, what are some things that are tiring you or draining you that may not be worth pursuing. If you got tired now, you will get tired again. And yes, it is inevitable to an extent. But, you want to minimize it to the best of your ability. So consider what fine-tuning can take place to provide more rest in your everyday routine.
Now, on to realigning to empowerment. It is unrealistic to expect undoing all those negative beliefs by doing mantras everyday for a week or reading a blog everyday. There are self-help course master gurus that claim you can do it in 21 or 90 days. And listen, there is nothing to lose by trying to put a time frame on it. Whatever helps you. But, negative beliefs can creep back in anytime.
The best course of action is everyday, tapping into that empowered mindfulness we have talked about here a million times. The more present you are, the more you can actively reprogram your mind. It may take a day, it may take a year. I cannot take inventory for what is going on within your subconscious or what your life will present to you.
But I can tell you this with a guarantee, you have right now and you have your mind. Upon finishing reading this post, where are you going to take it? To negative self-talk or to positive empowerment?
Remind yourself how every successful person has felt their lows, has felt their failures. Remind yourself that skills and success can be cultivated with the world of knowledge available online, in books, and within yourself. Remind yourself that you exist for a reason that you get to create.
Rest and re-align.
