Doing Small Positive Change can make a BIG Impact

Small, good deeds can make a huge impact on you and others.

The other day, my son and I went around the block picking up trash. I cannot express how good him and I both felt when we bagged up all the trash we gathered and put it out for pick up. The satisfaction of seeing the once littered and unsightly alleyway now clean with newfound focus on the grass and bushes. A slice of nature amongst the block.

It took maaaaaybe 20 minutes but was the highlight of both of our days.

The alley way was between two different homes, I can only imagine the pleasant surprise the tenants had when they walked and saw how clean it was. Even if they are not one to mind litter or trash, it still would be a welcomed surprise I am sure. 

Such a simple, quick task made such a difference in our emotions and the visual, physical state of our street. 

Sometimes we stress over what we are offering this world, but wow, there really is amazing power in the simple things.
