Carrying your lost loved ones love

 A few days ago it was my Mom-Mom’s birthday. She passed sway a few years ago after being one of my favorite people my whole life. She always showed kindness and interest which wasn’t always the case in my situation growing up. 

I contemplated how to honor her. Dropping flowers at her headstone wasn’t enough, having her pictures on my altar weren’t enough. She showed me so much love and acceptance in my life, how could I properly honor her?

I took a moment and reflected on all she embodied and made a choice. I shared it was her birthday and that everyone who saw that did something kind that day to honor not only her, but all who have been lost and has shown us love.

If we allow the positive impact that people had on us continue through us, if we embody positive change in ourselves and the world, they will infinitely affect the world eternally  

How beautiful is that? To immortalize  the ones we love most through love itself.
